Oslo Transformed

Timen What is needed to change the negative development in our capital? What is needed for God's people to rise up in a positive and dynamic way? We believe what is needed is cross-denominational, strategic, prayer - over time!

When Christians find each other across denominations and boundaries the city can be caught on fire for Jesus before we know it! A whole people who stand together in prayer and unity has enormous promises (Joh. 17, 18-23). This is what Christians in numerous cities and areas of the world have exerpienced the last 10 years. By reaching out to each other and call and God, they have become witnesses to His great interference! We believe this fast growing, world wide movement is from God, he waho wants all people to become saved and learn the Truth. His promises are for us! What has changed other cities can also change ours! Our Fathers heart is beating for every individual in Oslo. We want to open up for his love for the people around us and unify us in prayer for His will to happen - in our city.

  • We wish to see a unity among God's people.
  • We wish to see a holy people rise to strategic, lasting prayer for people's salvation and a changed city.
  • Ww wish to see OSLO TRANSFORMED!

WHAT IS THE PROGRAM?
You (or your group) can participate in the program at three different levels of commitment.

  1. By entering a PRAYER SHIELD where the goal is to have continuous prayer for the city 24/7. You commit to pray at the same day and time every week. This way you are helping is to form a powerful prayershield over the city.
  2. By praying one hour a week, but without committing to a specific time.
  3. By praying according to the strategic prayer topics we send out on a regular basis. You are free to pray as often and as long as desire.

Whatever level of commitment you choose you will receive a regular prayer letter (either by mail or email) with updated, strategic prayer topics for the city. Thsi prayer letter is the core of our prayer network. JOIN! Get in touch by contacing us on email (see contact section) or send us a letter with your contact information to receive the prayer letter in your mailbox. Remember to inform us about what level of commitment you would like to participate.

  1. Prayer shield ( we will get back to you with suggested timeslots)
  2. Pray one hour a week at a convenient time for you
  3. Receive the prayer letter and pray when it is convenient for you.

You are of course welcome to bring the prayer topics with you into other context where they naturally fit in. At this website we suggest a plan for how to spend the hour of prayer for a transformed Oslo. There are no requirements to follow the plan, but we have seen that it works well over time for many. Hence, we recommend all who commit to praying one hour a week to try it out. To pray together for a city is very exciting, and there are great promises that follow! We wish you a warm welcome into our big, cross-denominational prayer network that has a common desire and vision to see our capital transformed!
